Warren Memorial Hospital works to create a more healing environment by integrating the Planetree organizations concepts of patientcentered care The hospital has made a number of changes in the way patients and families experience healthcare The Care Partner program encourages patients to designate a family member or friend to participate in the physical care education and emotional support of the patient in partnership with the staff A kitchen is available for use by patients and families A family waiting room on the second floor provides a gathering space for patient and family use and also offers health information resources including Internet access brochures and other educational materials A healing garden in front of the building provides a welcoming spot to relax and enjoy nature Aquariums plants and fountains bring natures soothing sights and sounds indoors
