Union Hospital is a primary care Critical Access Hospital presently licensed for 25 acute beds and is staffed for 18 beds 10 of these beds in the acute care section are designated for swing bed short term patients Other departments of the hospital include Nursing Service Clinical Laboratory Radiology Surgery a Certified Level V Emergency Room Central Supply Physical Therapy Cardiac Rehabilitation Respiratory Therapy as well as the usual support services We have outreach services in Home Health Care WIC and counseling services through contract We also participate in an outreach program for CPR instruction in the local high schools and some public education CNA classes are held four times per year at Union Hospital
