The principle of community serving community is the foundation of our care Our history in South Lake began when a group of communityminded citizens came together in 1938 to form the Clermont Welfare League Their simple goal was to build a clinic to meet the needs for health care service in South Lake County South Lake Hospital was founded in 1947 to provide quality healthcare services and promote healthy lifestyles to this community Over the next six decades weve continually expanded our services and community outreach to better serve South Lake residents That commitment culminated in 2000 with the opening of our beautiful new campus

Today weve grown to be a cornerstone of the South Lake community Our 180 acre health wellness and education campus provides a complete continuum of quality care to the citizens of the South Lake community With over 100 beds and more than 1000 employees we are equipped to serve you We offer a variety of medical services including diagnostic imaging orthopedics and cardiac catheterization among others The Centre for Womens Health offers complete care for women from maternity to maturity South Lake Hospital is also home to the National Training Center which provides total body fitness advanced rehabilitative services and athletic training
