A Tradition of Caring
Northern Westchester Hospital NWH has served our community with distinction for nearly a century From a modest woodframe house in 1916 the nonprofit Hospital has grown into a sophisticated patientcentered health care facility that is becoming a leader in its field

In 1999 the Northern Westchester Hospital Foundation was incorporated as a separate 501c3 organization for the sole purpose of supporting Northern Westchester Hospitals mission The Foundation is considered a Type I supporting organization since we are operated supervised and controlled by Northern Westchester Hospital The Foundation is governed by a voluntary Board of Trustees consisting of community members and NWH physicians who ensure that gifts are used according to the donors wishes and only for Northern Westchester Hospital

Since the Foundations inception through September 30 2007 the Foundation has raised over 62 million from generous individuals and organizations to meet the healthcare needs of our community
