At the Madonna Ptak Morton Plant Rehabilitation Center we share the same goal as our patientsto enable them to return home as quickly as possible In fact our comprehensive therapeutic care equips 96 percent of patients to return home after an average stay of just 18 days
This 120bed center offers physical occupational speech and recreational therapy along with skilled nursing wound care pain management and many other services Specialized procedures and programs are available for neurological cardiac orthopedic osteoporosis and arthritis patients as well as those with complex medical conditions
An experienced and highly credentialed medical staff helps patients regain their independence as quickly as possible Patients retain relationships with their physician from the hospital who work closely with therapists and nurses to deliver personalized care The centers nursing staff earned the Magnet designation the highest rating offered by American Nurses Credentialing Center and therapists are certified in their area of specialty A subacute unit takes care of the most seriously ill patients and offers a nursetopatient ratio of 18
