Mercy Regional Health Center was built to serve the local community An acute care facility licensed to operate 150 beds in two facilities this private notforprofit organization was created in 1996 by combining The Saint Mary Hospital and Memorial Hospital The primary mission of Mercy Regional is to promote community health by providing quality compassionate healthcare services that embrace our values of quality human dignity and community In other words our purpose is caring for and about our patients

Mercy Regional is committed to meeting our communitys healthcare needs through an exceptional compassionate modernized healthcare system On a daytoday basis that means more than 140 physicians over 1000 employees and approximately 200 volunteers serving the people of Manhattan and the surrounding areas with a wide range of quality health and wellness services
