History

The Lower Keys facility was created in 1971 and serves the citizens of the Florida Keys living below the Seven Mile Bridge It is the areas sole hospital care provider

There are 75 physicians on the Lower Keys Medical Center LKMC medical staff Our nursing staff numbers over 200 With a total staff of 500 LKMC is the largest employer in the City of Key West
