Littleton Adventist Hospitals stroke program has recently been named to the Target Stroke Honor Roll by the American Heart AssociationAmerican Stroke Association The criteria for Target Stroke is to give IV TPA within 60 minutes more than 50 of the time for one quarter minimum of 6 patients treated Littleton Adventist Hospital treated 58 TPA stroke patients within 60 minutes AprilJune 2010 Collaboration between EMS the Emergency Department neurologists CT radiologists and pharmacy made this recognition possible
