Kindred Hospital St Louis is an acute care specialty hospital with 60 beds including a fivebed High Observation Unit and a fourbed hemodialysis unit Accredited by The Joint Commission and certified by Medicare the hospital specializes in treating catastrophically ill patients and uses an integrated multidisciplinary team approach in providing care

We offer 24hour inhouse physician coverage as well as specialty consults as needed for infectious disease pulmonology nephrology psychiatry and others Our inhouse physicians are not part of another health system thus Kindred patients are their sole priority

Another important difference at Kindred is the active involvement of patients and their families as part of the care team We also ensure continued communication with the patients physician from the referring facility
