Kindred Hospital South Florida Ft Lauderdale is a 70bed Joint Commission formerly JCAHO accredited Medicare and Medicaidcertified longterm acute care facility We provide care for medically complex patients 24 hours a day 365 days a year The primary market area is the Broward Palm Beach Dade and Treasure Coast region although patients are referred from outside the area on occasion Kindred Hospital South Florida Ft Lauderdale has two remote facilities Kindred Hospital South Florida Coral Gables and Kindred Hospital South Florida Hollywood
We work closely with our referring facilities to assure that patients referred to our care are accommodated efficiently and effectively Medically complex patients are typically referred from intensive care units medicalsurgical units of shortterm acute care facilities and nursing homes as well as physicians offices
