Jane Phillips Medical Center traces its history back over 86 years Washington County Memorial Hospital was opened in 1922 the product of a community effort to pay tribute to the local veterans of World War I Jane Phillips Hospital was completed in 1952 Built by the Frank Phillips Foundation the facility was named in the memory of Jane Gibson Phillips wife of Frank Phillips who founded Phillips Petroleum Company
Jane Phillips Hospital was operated as a community facility until 1958 when it was deeded to the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma
In 1969 voters approved a referendum which allowed county commissioners to lease the equipment and the facilities of Memorial Hospital to Jane Phillips Episcopal Hospital thus streamlining health care services in the Bartlesville area The tenstory patient tower was completed on the main campus in 1982
Jane Phillips Medical Center offers a wide range of services including general medicine surgery cardiopulmonary care maternal and infant care cancer treatment geriatric care orthopedics and physical medicine
