History
In 1962 Dr Donald Blackwell and Dr F Robert Brueckmann founded the Blackwell and Brueckmann Partnership which became the foundation for a unique medical practice that now spans over three decades Today that group is known as OrthoIndy

Within the United States OrthoIndy ranks among the largest private full service orthopaedic groups and is the largest orthopaedic group in Indiana and the Midwest

Currently the group consists of over 60 physicians including physicians who specialize in primary care physical medicine and rehabilitation in addition to anesthesiologists

OrthoIndy physicians are actively involved in various aspects of orthopaedic research and quality outcomes The physicians also remain on the leading edge of research and development of new procedures and techniques
