History

OhioHealth Grant Medical Centers rich history began in downtown Columbus when it was founded in 1900 by worldrenowned surgeon Dr James F Baldwin Grant has grown into one of the top hospitals in Columbus and the US as well as Ohios busiest Level I Trauma Center We are recognized nationally for trauma care orthopedics heart and vascular care neurosciences and robotic and minimally invasive surgery services Grant is accredited by The Joint Commission

We are also home to the Center for Blood Conservation a bloodless surgery and medicine program a human donor milk bank for premature infants in need and a nurse anesthesia training program
