History

The original main hospital in King City was a 22bed singlestory facility built in 1941 by Dr L M Andrus In 1962 George L Mees son donated proceeds from a cattle sale as seed money for a new hospital facility Mee was a prominent and colorful cattle rancher known for his enormous ranch and generosity toward community endeavors

Today the hospital is a 123bed twostory fullservice notforprofit healthcare facility with centers and clinics in Paso Robles King City Greenfield and Soledad All patients coming to any Mee facility receive highly personalized care by knowledgeable and professional staffs and physicians that use stateoftheart medical technology
