History

Our History
Eureka Springs Hospital has been providing quality health care since October 29 1929 over 75 years of service and is continuing to provide quality health care today and in the future

The Hospital Commission was created by the City of Eureka Springs for the purpose of operating and managing the City owned facility The Commission is a group of local businessmen and women appointed by the Eureka Springs Mayor and confirmed by the City Council In August 2004 the Commission brought in Quality Health Network to assist in management This has proven to be an exciting partnership and we look forward to further growth of services and success in action

In October 2007 Eureka Springs Hospital Commission and the Eureka Springs City Council took a significant step toward securing the future of the hospital and its employees by agreeing to a lease with Allegiance Health Management AHM intends to assist the Eureka Springs Hospital in adding new services recruiting additional Physicians and ultimately building a replacement facility to better serve the community
