Founding Donors To Elbert Memorial Hospital
In 1950 500 was the total cost to completely furnish a patients hospital room A donor who gave this amount was entitled to have a name engraved on a bronze plaque which was then placed on a room door Sometime through the years the plaques were removed During the 50th anniversary celebration they were found in a basement workroom and were proudly hung in the hospital lobby
