For over 55 years the hospitals employees physicians volunteers and board of directors have worked to fulfill our mission of providing excellence in the delivery of healthcare Today CMH is licensed for 284 beds and provides a wide array of inpatient services including acute care behavioral health skilled and longterm care along with many outpatient programs such as dialysis home health hospice and many others Since our inception we have grown to be one of the areas largest employers with over 800 employees 200 volunteers and 85 physicians representing 30 medical specialties on staff

Founded in 1954 Community Memorial Healthcenter CMH is a nonprofit health care facility operated by a voluntary elected Board of Trustees Planned and built by the people of Brunswick Lunenburg and Mecklenburg Counties CMH offers a full range of medical surgical and psychiatric services for residents of Southside Virginia or Northern North Carolina
