Serving the community since 1904 Canonsburg General Hospital is conveniently located near Route 19 and Interstate 79 in North Strabane Township

The 104bed facility which includes a 16bed inpatient acute rehabilitation unit was built in 1983 The hospital has undergone several expansions in 1996 a new ambulatory care center was opened in 2003 the physicial therapy department was enlarged and in 2006 an 11200 square foot emergency department was added to accommodate increase patient volume Canonsburg General Hospital along with the nearly 200 physicians on its medical staff primarily serve residents living in southern Allegheny and northern Washington counties
