A notforprofit institution Brattleboro Memorial Hospital provides primary and acute medical care to more than 2000 inpatients each year in its 61bed facility More than 2500 surgical procedures are also performed annually at BMH a large number of which are sameday surgery In addition the hospital provides many services for the benefit of area residents including provision of close to 23 million in free and charitable care each year These services are rendered with the professionalism and warmth that has made BMH an excellent community healthcare facility for the last century
