History

Founded on Community Commitment

Bothwell Regional Health Center began as a community effort and continues that tradition today The health center which opened in October 1930 is named after major benefactor John Homer Bothwell Mr Bothwell promised the citizens of the community he would contribute to the hospital financially but he would need their help to raise the remainder of the funds needed

The citychartered health center has grown much since its beginnings from seeing 68 patients during its first month of operation to seeing more than 600 per month today The health center employs more than 900 people in 12 different locations with nearly 100 physicians providing stateoftheart care in more than 20 specialty areas
