History
Bone amp Joint Hospital began with the dream of a young physician returning home from serving in World War I and first opened its doors in 1926 During the past 80 years the hospital has gained a strong reputation in the city state and country for exceptional orthopedic care

In 1995 Bone amp Joint Hospital joined the SSM Health Care system which is founded on the beliefs of five religious sisters who journeyed to St Louis in 1872 from Germany to be of service to people in need As the sisters outreach grew so did their reputation Today SSM Health Care operates hospitals in four states
