The Congregation of the Sisters of Bon Secours was founded in Paris France in 1824 after the French Revolution Throughout their history the Sisters of Bon Secours have been committed to administering quality compassionate health care to anyone in need throughout the world Today their health care ministries are located in Ecuador France Great Britain Ireland Peru and the United States

In 1919 the Sisters of Bon Secours opened their first Bon Secours Hospital in the United States right here on West Baltimore Street in Baltimore City where it continues to flourish today The Congregations Motherhouse is located in Paris France and the United States Provincial House is located in Marriottsville Maryland along with the Bon Secours Spiritual Center where religious retreats are held

Today Bon Secours Hospital has 125 acute care beds and our approach to community health reaches beyond the traditional model of health care Patients and communities are cared for holistically with traditional acutecare services along with an array of ambulatory and community services

TeleHeart a stateoftheart home health monitoring program for patients with congestive heart disease Renal Dialysis Mental Health Physical Therapy and Drug Treatment are among the comprehensive programs available to patients
