Wesham Hospital built in 2001 is part of the Blackpool Fylde and Wyre Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is situated in the rural area of Kirkham and Wesham close to the junction 3 of the M55 motorway between Preston and Blackpool
The unit has 40 comfortable single double and fourbedded ensuite rooms each with bathing facilities television radio nursecall systems and uptodate moving and handling equipment Corridors from the bedrooms lead to the communal dining and lounge area This forms the heart of the unit and incorporates a central nurses station The lounge area leads to a conservatory which overlooks the landscape gardens
Our team of senior nursing sisters staff nurses and HCAs are dedicated to providing a relaxing and therapeutic environment that is dedicated to promoting the physical and emotional recovery of patients to allow them as far as possible to retain or recover their independence
