Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust LPT is part of the NHS We provide a range of health and wellbeing services mainly for people living in the city of Leicester and the neighbouring counties of Leicestershire and Rutland We serve a population of one million and have a budget in excess of pound250 million and employ almost around 6000 staff
The organisation was created in 2002 to provide mental health learning disability and substance misuse services In April 2011 to enable us to provide a more holistic total healthcare package we merged with Leicester City Community Health Services and Leicestershire County and Rutland Community Health Services two NHS organisations which provide physical healthcare services in the community
