Description
We provide mental health services to both NHS and privatelyfunded service users We assess diagnose and treat a wide range of psychological and emotional problems as well as specialise in treating a wide range of addictions
We have a 19bed mixed acute adult psychiatric ward as well as a rapid specialist treatment programme for alcohol detoxification and the Detox 5 centre for opiate detoxification We are registered for 18 to 65 year olds and over 65s with appropriate assessment
Our multidisciplinary team includes a consultant psychiatrist psychologists qualified nurses counsellors a dietician complementary therapists and support workers
We provide quick and efficient referrals and can admit service users within 24 hours by arrangement with the consultant psychiatrist and medical staff on call Our aim is to provide service users with an affordable private psychiatric service and to offer prompt diagnosis and treatment on an outpatient day patient or inpatient basis
The hospital is in very pleasant surroundings in this picturesque North Yorkshire spa town and is within easy reach of Leeds or York by road or rail
