In November 2010 the Trust opened the pound32 million Lancashire Women and Newborn Centre This stateoftheart building includes East Lancashires centralised consultantled maternity unit as well as a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit a midwifeled birth centre and a purposebuilt gynaecology unit
