The continuing care facility offers 24hour care for clients who require longterm care palliative care respite care as well as shortterm convalescent care and rehabilitation
The birthing unit provides antenatal birthing and postnatal facility and services for Matariki caseload midwife clients as well as providing facility services for independent midwife clients
The complex is fully fire protected with uptodate sprinkler systems and alarms Staff also receive ongoing education and practice in fire evacuation and in responding to emergency situations
