The out patient department houses a causality to take care of all kinds of medical and surgical emergencies round the clock The consultants are available from 8AM onwards through the day until 9 PM Appointment system is being followed However we also take care of the walk in patients and emergency consultations

We have diagnostic laboratory which runs from 630AM onwards until 9PM This include Biochemistry Haematology Micribiology and serology TMTstress test 2D Echo Xray machine and Ultrasonography is also part of the laboratory Quality with care and dedication and accuracy is the goal

INPatient Services

We have a carefully planned inpatient services department with Genaral wards single rooms AC and Non AC and Deluxe type of rooms A dedicated Nursing service department serves round the clock and is a medium of relief to the patients The paramedical staff is also well trained to take care carefully and with dedication We extend wide range of services that include almost all major specialties such as Diabetology Diabetic foot care Internal Medicine critical care GynaecologyObstetrics Neurology Urology Paediatrics Nephrology Dermatology Physiotherapy and NutritionA diet kitchen backed up by a nutritionist is ever willing to feed the patients when requested It is our goal to ensure that every need of the patient is met with speed accuracy and efficiency

A special Diabetic foot assessment laboratory which is unique and is being used for diagnosing the risks for foot ulcer Early detection and care will certainly prevent foot ulceration and amputations in the long run This facility is being used for both outpatients and inpatients

Surakshaka Diabetes Multispecialities and Research Centre a division of Surakshaka diabetic centre pvt ltd was conceived by Dr Lily Rodrigues a consultant physician and diabetologist It was started in 1998 as a Diabetic clinic and was first of its kind in the locality Dedicated to giving special care to people with Diabetes and its complications like Ketoacidosishypoglycemic coma Foot infectionsetc It is our endeavor to bring healing touch and relief to the suffering especially to people with diabetes with easily available affordable and accessible service

Hyderabad is a city with dubious distinction of having highest number of diabetic people among all the cities in India As per the most recent survey in India there are 624 million people diagnosed as diabetic and 777million more as pre diabetic We have a hard challenge before us of treating diabetes with standard of care and preventing the complications of this chronic disorder In order to provide quality care for People living with Diabetes in its totality it was a felt need to develop the clinic into a Multispecialty Hospital This dream became a reality and Surakshaka Hospitals was born on the auspicious day of Nov 14th 2003
