Description

Thirty years ago 1985 two young doctors Rama Rao R a surgeon and Krishna Murty K a physician after rendering their services as specialists to the Ministry of Health Algeria for about 5 years came back to India and started their humble project RK HOSPITAL a 25 bed multispeciality centre in Gajuwaka the hub and heart of the industrial belt of VISAKHAPATNAM Their mission was to bring the available modern medical facilities as nearer as possible to the people who need them most and to keep the cost as low as possible to make it affordable to the most who seek such services It was the first private multi speciality hospital of that region and eventually became a household name for the people in and around Gajuwaka

Soon in 1993 it was shifted from a small rented building to a own sprawling 22000 sqfeet hospital with 50 beds built in an area of 3000 sqyrds and designed by the renowned architectural farm PADGRO Consultants Chennai to function as a model for hospitals of that size

After a few years of appreciable and enviable success in 1999 RK Hospital played a key role in bringing the first fullfledged Cardiology and other Superspeciality services to VISAKHAPATNAM and to the people of North Andhra and South Orissa through CARE HOSPITALS by being a partner and promotor to their pioneering work

Realizing the necessity for an advanced medical set up for the people of the industrial belt RK Hospital is again upgraded recently 2013to a 40000 sqft 80 bed Superspeciality centre to suit the present day needs and demands of the people Now it is offering services in all major multi and superspecialities including Critical Care except interventional cardiology and CT surgery

All through these years our mission and motto remained the same To offer the best possible care for a least possible cost and to pass on all the benefits to our patients without giving a share to any middle men
