The hospital is very proud to announce a century of services to the people of Saurashtra Established in 1905 it was the only dedicated eye hospital in the area with patients coming from as far as 300 kms away for getting eye treatments Four generations of Doctors Dr Narsinghbhai his son Dr Keshubhai then Dr Bharatbhai and now Dr Ajay Mehta have treated patients at this hospital

The hospital has a built up area of 4000sq feet dedicated totally for eye services Ground floor is the opd area and has two large waiting areas and can sit 40 patients in each of them Two consultants can simultaneously run these opds and each of them has access to 6 consulting rooms First floor is the surgical area with two major and one minor OT Apart from that there are fifteen beds including the special semi special and the general wards on the same floor
