Huma Specialist Hospital and Research Centre was established in the year 1987 by the Chairman amp Founder Managing Director Dr Hisamuddin Papa with the spirit and vision of forming an exceptional organization serving humanity with compassion HUMA was developed as a multispeciality hospital with all major surgeries being performed successfully Situated on the arterial road of Chennai and easily accessible HUMA provided quality medical care by expert medical professionals under one roof

The years 19931994 saw a change of focus in the core service area of the hospital with the inpatient facilities being withdrawn temporarily due to constraint of space and future expansion plans The Diagnostic Division was kept under operation and developed The hospital since then has received many accolades and set benchmarks in the health care industry HUMA has been pioneering Preventive Health Checkups since 1989 and has been acknowledged for its outstanding service in criteria like speed quality and accuracy of testing and reporting for large groups The Preventive Health CheckUp Packages at the Diagnostic Division in HUMA have been acclaimed globally for their well defined system and procedures in place HUMA is certified on the panel of various organizations both in India and abroad as well as recognized by the Ministry of Health of various foreign countries
