One out of every three blind people in the world lives in India an estimated 15 million Indians are blind with an additional 52 million visually impaired Every year 3 million Indians develop cataracts which gradually lead to blindness if left untreated There are also 2 million blind children in India Only 5 of them receive any education
A staggering 80 of these cases are curable if diagnosed and treated early and if adequate facilities and trained staff are available I knew from the very beginning this was my calling and decided to establish envision with all the latest diagnostic and surgical equipment as well as a one window service for all eye conditions
