Welcome to Coimbatore Diabetes Foundation
CDF was established by Dr V Sekar in 1991 as a small diabetes clinic in cowley brown Road RS Puram CBE and registered as a medical trust in 1995 by Thiru M Viaramuthu Father of Dr V Sekar
The institution has been awarded the prestigious ISO 90012000 Certificate recognition of its service on par with international standards in the field of diabetes its prevention and control It may be said that it is one among the few centers in the world to achieve this distinction
Within a short span of 2 decades CDF has growth to the status of referral centre for Diabetes and its complication requiring super specialty opinion amp management with all the facilities under one roof
CDF has also achieved the status of teaching institution of international excellence Now the centre has been collaborative with international multicentric research on diabetes
To date CDF has 48860 patients registered 3000 new patients walking inside CDF every year Patient followup rate is 3040 with the help of our various active sustained follow up packages
