The Hospital is now recognised by the Government of India as an Institute of Oncology and Cancer Research amp Training The hospital is equipped with some of the latest treatment amp diagnostic facilities and undertakes treatment of all types of malignant and other diseases The Hospital and the Diagnostic Centre have been recently computerised for more efficient working Besides serving the local population of Jharkhand it extends its services to government and non government organisations like SAIL HEC HCL CCL ACC IEL and the Railways It is a recognised referral institution and patients come from UP MP Orissa Assam West Bengal Nepal and many other states
In recognition of its outstanding performance in the field of Oncology the Hospital has been elected a member of the International Union Against Cancer and registered under the Society Act
