The Institute has organized several Conferences and Workshops in Laparoscopic surgery for training in advanced endoscopic surgical skills Research activities from the Institute have resulted in Dr MRamesh the Director of the Institute present over 80 papers in Conferences around the globe

The BEST Institute amp Research Centre is also involved in development projects of major technologies like Virtual Reality Laparoscopic Surgery Training Modules along with other major research bodies like DRDO India amp MIT Boston USA It has established the first Telemonitoring Center in the Country and also involved in research in the field of Robotic Surgery
