While the need for Burn Treatment Units in our country has been a common discussion point little has been initiated in this field in the private sector and this is exactly what led Dr Tiwary and his team to think in this direction It all began with the setting up of the Bihar Burn amp Trauma Research Center Appolo Burn Hospital at Patna Bihar in the year 1992 with the objective of serving burn patients of Bihar with an affordable amp accessible treatment model for Burn Injuries of every possible nature

BBTRC over the years has grown to being a 30 Bedded facility with 2 more branches at Noida Delhi amp NCR and Bilaspur Chhattisgarh This one of a kind Burn Treatment Unit Chain has experienced a countrywide response from the patient community to its services Over the years patients from Punjab Haryana Gujarat Delhi Assam West Bengal Uttar Pradesh Arunachal Pradesh Jharkhand amp Maharashtra have been treated from these 3 facilities Every year we care for more than 500 adults and children with serious even life threatening burns
