Southlake Regional Health Centre is located in York Region at 596 Davis Drive in Newmarket Ontario From the outside you might think this is a brand new hospital but the truth is that Southlake has proudly served this community for more than 85 years Our new look and feel is due to that fact that in recent years Southlake has undergone a stunning transformation from a local community hospital to a foremost regional health care centre Our stateoftheart buildings house leading edge technology and facilities comparable to and in some cases exceeding what is offered anywhere else in the Province of Ontario
Southlakes growth could not have been better timed York Region is growing at an astounding rate36000 new residents per year It also has twice the provincial average of people under 65 years of age and three times the provincial average for seniors
To provide health care to this growing population within our walls is a team of more than 2800 employees 500 physicians and 800 volunteers who are relentless in their commitment to deliver excellence Here are some of their recent accomplishments
