The RNANTNU is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of nurses and a public member from across the NWT and Nunavut Much of the work of the association is accomplished through committees These Committees also consist of RNANTNU members and the public on a volunteer basis The RNANTNU has 5 staff an Executive DirectorRegistrar Director of Regulatory Services and Policy Director Professional Conduct Review Registration Coordinator Administrative Assistant

The association has had regulatory responsibility for nurses in both the NWT and Nunavut dating back before division of the two territories however the name was not adjusted at that time We are delighted that finally our name reflects our membership in both territories
