The Cancer Centre Foundation was established in 1997 and is led by a Volunteer Board of Directors a vast network of volunteers and a dedicated team of five staff members at our Concession Street office Our Mission is to develop manage and distribute charitable resources to support and enhance patient care research and education related to cancer at the Juravinski Cancer Centre

The Regional Cancer Centre is a place of healing and compassion But most of all its a place of hope For nearly 50 years patients from across Central West Ontario have been coming to the Hamilton Regional Cancer Centre HRCC after being diagnosed with cancer The centre shares the same goals as the people who come through its doors to maximize the opportunities for recovery and a good quality of life The centre is internationally recognized for its leadingedge programs in cancer treatment education and research One of nine regional cancer centres in Ontario it provides treatment to more than 7000 new patients each year

The Centre is affiliated with Hamilton Health Sciences a network of five hospitals serving Central West Ontario

The Foundations Mission is to develop manage and distribute charitable resources to support and enhance patient care research and education related to cancer at the Juravinski Cancer Centre

The Foundation was established in 1997 and is led by a volunteer Board of Directors and includes a vast network of volunteers and a dedicated team of staff members In 2009 the Foundation amalgamated with the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation Staff works at both the main HHSF office and a satellite office within the Cancer Centre
