Few things are more precious to us than our health and wellbeing and that of our loved ones That is why the services provided by staff and physicians at Colchester Regional Hospital and through other community programs are so important It is also the reason so much effort is underway to ensure the hospitals legacy of delivering quality care and services continues

Colchester East Hants Health Authority its staff physicians consultants volunteers and communities are engaged in planning for the exciting Colchester East Hants Health Centre Project now under construction

The new 124bed facility expected to open in the Summer of 2012 will serve more than 73000 residents of Colchester East Hants and will provide surgical medical mental health intensive care maternal child services diagnostic and treatment services

About the CEHHA
Colchester East Hants Health Authority was formed by the Nova Scotia Department of Health in January 2001 We are responsible for managing and delivering a wide range of services to the 73 000 residents of Colchester County and the Municipality of East Hants Our services include Colchester Regional Hospital Lillian Fraser Hospital East Hants Resource Centre as well as Public Health Mental Health and Addiction Services
