About the Chesley amp District Health Services Foundation
The Chesley and District Memorial Hospital Foundation was created as a separate entity and bylaws were created in 1994 Before this it had been a part of the governing Board of Directors of the hospital Founding members of the Foundation are Robert Hutchinson Chair Guy Kirvan Sec Treas Donna Thomson Peter Loucks and Cliff Rier The purpose of the Foundation was to receive and maintain a fund or funds and to apply from time to time all or part thereof and the income therefrom to and for the benefit of the Chesley and District Memorial Hospital At the time of its inception there were 5 directors In 2004 a bylaw was revised to increase the number of members to 11 Nine of these members represent and are elected from Chesley Brant Bentinck ArranElderslie ArranTara Sullivan and the hospital Auxilliary A representative also comes from the Board of Directors of the South Bruce Grey Health Centre and the CEO andor administrator of the Health Centre The name of the foundation was also updated in 2004

The Chesley and District Health Services Foundation is a registered charitable organization that raises funds for equipment and facilities for the Chesley site of the South Bruce Grey Health Centre through donations from estates and individual contributions
