History
St George Private Hospital History
An amalgamation of Pacific Private Bexley Private and Kogarah Private Hospitals St George Private Hospital opened on the 1 November 1995 and recently celebrated its tenth anniversary Colocated with the UNSW affiliated St George Hospital the campus offers a strong Community focus in the St George Hurstville Rockdale and Sutherland Shires
Over its first decade SGPH is one of South Sydneys largest and most comprehensive facilities boasting 205 beds 11 operating theatres a 10 bed ICU 8 bed Coronary Care Unit Cardiac Catheter Lab Oncology Day Centre Obstetric Unit and a 20 bed Day Surgery as well as a wide range of diagnostic and support services
The Hospital is regarded as one of Australias most prestigious hospitals serving approximately 31000 patients each year
