The Strathcona Mental Health team provides assessment rehabilitation and specialized services to adults and older adults with serious mental illness and to children and youth with serious behaviouralemotional disorders living in the Strathcona area The team also looks into reports of suspected abuse and neglect of adults who cannot seek help for themselves and provide psychiatric diagnosis medication therapy individual group and family rehabilitation consultation and education when needed Emergency residential and specialized services including homebased services are also available
