ABOUT KINSMEN PLACE LODGE
Kinsmen Place Lodge was founded by the Kinsmen Club of Whalley The Lodge is governed by Whalley amp District Senior Citizens Housing Society a nonprofit organization incorporated in 1961 and registered under the Society Act of the Province of British Columbia The construction of Kinsmen Place Lodge was started in 1973 and officially opened on October 19th 1975 photo
Kinsmen Place Lodge is a sixstory building located in the neighbourhood of Whalley It is within wheelchair walking distance of a local park shopping centre restaurants health services providers and a recreation centre with a swimming pool
Kinsmen Place Lodge is close to the Surrey Central bus stop and the Skytrain station Free parking is also offered for the convenience of visitors and is located just west of the facility on Old Yale Road
A large dining area TV room smoking lounge multipurpose activity area Receptionist Administrative offices and solarium with a walkout garden patio are all located on the main floor The upper five floors are home to 144 residents There are 22 single rooms and 61 double rooms Each room has one attached bathroom
Each room and bathroom is equipped with a nurse call system and a smoke detector connected to the fire alarm system Residents can enjoy a private phone line and cable television service as described in our Resident Handbook Common bathing facilities include showers and hydrolift jacuzzi style bath tubs all supervised by trained personnel
