Our Clinical Trials Unit is based at the Beehive Surgery and has been established for 15 years We participate in Phase 11 IV Studies both noncommercial and commercial covering all disease areas The unit works closely within the practice and has a dedicated office and consulting room with a range of modern assessment equipment
Our full time Research Nurse Sharon Burge has 9 years experience in running clinical trials and works alongside Dr Ian Parker our Research GP lead Together with the other members of the practice team we regard the clinical trials as an important aspect of our practice
The Practice uses electronic patient records enabling us to perform easy searches for specific patient populations and to quickly assess the feasibility of studies being successful at the site
