About Us
The Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation is a volunteer organization comprised of 13 representatives from Port Elgin Southampton and their surrounding communities The Foundation was formed during the reorganization of health services in GreyBruce to ensure that funds received are used exclusively for the benefit of the Southampton Hospital
Since its inception in 1998 the Foundation through generous gifts from the community has helped raise over 57 million dollars to March 31 2011
Mission Statement
The Foundations mission is to sustain and improve the high level of patient care at the Southampton Hospital through financial support for capital requirements
