Based on this philosophy of health in the year 1975 the late Dr MS Chandrasekharan Nair an eminent Ayurvedic expert founded Sree Sankara Ayurveda Vaidyasala in Changanacherry Kerala He was a member of the Faculty of Ayurveda at the University of Kerala and also empanelled as a member of the Government Advisory Council

The four sons MCMohanachandradas Dr MCRajachandradas MCBalachandradas and Dr MCVijayachandradas of Dr Chandrasekharan Nair imbibed his practical wisdom and inherited his legendary dedication They all followed in his footsteps Each son under his own chosen portfolio introduced principles of modern management in organization harnessed modern technology for production expanded the spectrum of health services and identified new locations for a wider reach Their joint efforts took Sree Sankara Ayurveda Vaidyasala to new heights and won it a place of honour on the map of Global Health Care
