Description
The Gujarat Research amp Medical Institute Rajasthan Hospitals is a Charitable Trust registered under Bombay Public Trust Act1950 It provides medical relief by way of medical research medical treatment and medical education

At present the Operational Bed Capacity of the Institute is 275 Beds which includes Free ward Economic ward Semispecial room Air Conditioned Semispecial room Special room Air Conditioned special roomDeluxe room and Deluxe Suite

For medical treatment the Institute has direct billing agreement with various organsations like ISRO RBI ONGC IFFCO IOC and very many others It is approved under Central Government Health Scheme CGHS for medical treatment to Central Government Employees and by the Government of Gujarat for treatment to state Government Employees for the purpose of Urology Neurology Cardiology and Cardiac Thoracic Surgery and by Rajasthan State Government for all treatment to Rajasthan State Government employees

The Institute is situated at Camp Road Shahibag Ahmedabad It is nearly 3 kms away from the Ahmedabad International Airport and within 5 Kms from the Ahmedabad Railway Station and State Road Transport Bus Stand The area Shahibag where the Institute is located is a developed area within the Ahmedabad Municipal limits and is connected by Ahmedabad City Bus Service
