About Us
Joshi Hospital was started in year 1991 on Kapurthala Road in Jalandhar opposite Sports College Dr Mukesh Joshi and Dr Mrs Neelam Joshi put in their heart and soul into the endeavor and made a name for the hospital in treatment of Orthopedic cases It was a 15 bedded facility with one operating room It catered to all the variety of elective and emergency Orthopedic Patients

With increasing reputation and with reliance of patients having complex trauma on Dr Joshi for his expert treatment the space at the campus proved to be limiting factor So the hospital was shifted to its new premises in year 2005

In this new building it is possible to serve larger number of patients as there are two operating rooms fully equipped with stateoftheart technology and total bed capacity of 50 with 7 bedded Intensive Care Unit These facilities treat cases varying from closed Forearm Fractures to Joint Replacements now

For management of complex trauma cases hospital added Peripheral Vascular Surgery and MicroVascular Surgery facilities in year 2005 This made Reimplantation and Free Tissue Transfer possible in this region Dr Gurvinder Singh Saini Reconsturtive Plastic amp Microvascular Surgeon did the first successful finger reimplant of the city in this hospital Concomitantly Dr Sameer Kapoor an Intensivist also joined hospital to provide round the clock monitoring of critical cases Pain clinic is also being managed by him and running successfully

The same building is housing a Cath Lab Center which makes it convenient for Vascular Injury patients to undergo Angiography without delay 24 hour Laboratory Services are available in the same campus

Physiotherapy unit is fully ready to be inaugurated shortly Within few weeks period Blood Bank shall be functional in the same building itself

All these facilities make our hospital a comprehensive Trauma management center with practically every facility available under one roof No wonder this center is ISO 90012000 certified hospital in the city
