Fernandez Hospital has been making rapid strides in the areas of Fetal Medicine and Gynaecology Personnel and medical equipment have been enhanced to cope with the growing volumes of patients in both departments The need for additional space also prompted the setting up of the new Unit 4 at Hyderguda which was inaugurated on 25th April 2013
This new Out Patient facility houses the consolidated Fetal Medicine Unit complete with the full range of ultrasonography equipment The facility also caters to child vaccinations within a centralized setup
An entire floor has also been devoted to the expanded Gynaecology Department which is manned by seven senior consultants and offers comprehensive services including day care procedures using the latest technologies The revamped Gynaec Department offers consultant led 24x7 emergency services evidencebased care dedicated clinics cancer prevention and urogynaecology
